Deborah has been involved in the therapeutic field since 1989. In the past, she has helped create a counseling center in NY for addictive recoverees, addressing issues such as substance abuse, sex addiction, food addiction and sexual abuse. Deborah was an administrator of this center for six years. Deborah’s degrees focus on addictive studies, community relations, human services and social work. She has most recently attained a Florida Sex Therapy Certification and is a Sexual Therapist, specializing in sexual abuse and LGBTQ. Deborah is trained in the Florida Certification Program for pre and post adoption. She is a SAE, Substance Abuse Expert, working for Duke Energy. She is a SAP, Substance Abuse Professional, woorking for the Department of Transportation. She is Certified as a Florida Trainer and is Certified as a Continuing Education Units Provider by the Board of Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors.
Deborah is a Trauma specialist. Deborah’s experience includes a wide range of clients; she has worked with all ages from 2 to 92 and in all capacities, individual, group, couple and family therapy. Deborah is well versed in helping people to recover from sexual abuse and to manage Post Traumatic Stress Disorder caused by their trauma. She is master certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and a hypnotherapist. Deborah specializes in adoption issues and Dissociative Identity Disorder. Deborah is a the clinical supervisor of this practice and accepts interns for licensure in the Social Work discipline.
